Fernando de Noronha Archipelago consists of 21 islands in the Atlantic Ocean, some 200 nautical miles of the Brazilian NE coast and it is one of the best kept secrets in the world. Because of its remoteness and limited number of visitors, its unparalleled beauty is yet to be discovered. It is a Nature Preservation Site with an exuberant marine life, comparable to the Galapagos Island on the other side of the continent, and one of the best scuba diving places on the planet. |
With visibility of up to 50 meters, its waters are home to fish, rays, sharks, moray eels, turtles, barracudas, dolphins, sponges and algae, in addition to coral reefs, rock formations and wrecks. Full of incomparable scenery, Fernando de Noronha heads the list of the places most admired by Brazilian and overseas tourists. |
