Kayaking can be done within a wide range of intensity, depending on where the sport is practiced. Sea kayaking is practiced along the entire coastal zone of Brazil, presenting the challenge and thrill of conquering the waves while soaking up the extraordinary surroundings. River kayaking can be performed lackadaisically where currents and rapids are calm. However, be prepared for adrenaline to take over when the pace heats up! Canoeing up small rivers of the Amazon is the only access to some of the native villages.
